My suncatchers feature a range a magical creatures and nature inspired themes such as dragonflies, moths, butterflies, bats, oak, maple and Ivy leaves and fairy wings, each one comes in a handstamped gift box made of recycled card with ribbon tied scroll with the symbolic meaning of each creation making them a truly unique and special gift

~ Butterfly ~ Transformation ~ Cultural myth and lore honour the butterfly as a symbol of transformation because of the impressive process of metamorphosis. Symbolically the butterfly asks us to accept the changes in our lives and reminds us that just when the Caterpillar thought its world was over, it became a Butterfly!
~ Moth ~ Faith ~ Moths are magical creatures linked with the moon and the spirit world; they can often be seen flying earnestly towards any light source demonstrating both their faith and determination ~ Moths are linked to psychic awareness, intuition and also to love and attraction.
~ Oak ~ Strength ~ The mighty Oak was held in great esteem by the ancient Celts and it is thought that the name Druid came from the Celtic word for oak ‘Duir’, to the ancient Celts the wearing of Oak leaves denoted someone of special status. The Oak brings Protection, Strength and Wisdom.
~ Ivy ~ Friendship ~ Ivy seems to be almost indestructible and as such stands for survival & determination. Its Celtic meaning is linked with friendship and connections as its growth interweaves with many twists and turns it is testimony to the special long lasting bonds of friendship we create in our lives.
